Lawlor forced off UFC on Versus 5 card, Herman now faces Noke

Coming off of his knockout win over Tim Credeur in June, Ed Herman will return to action in August. Herman has agreed to replace the injured Tom Lawlor against Kyle Noke August 14 in Milwaukee.

The middleweight bout is a battle of former Ultimate Fighter alums.  Herman showcased his talents on TUF 3, while the Australian Noke, was featuted on TUF 11.

Watson-Trigg Headlines BAMMA 7 on Sept. 10

BAMMA announced the headlining bout for its Sept. 10 event, as Frank Trigg will challenge Tom Watson for the promotion’s middleweight title.

The event takes place from the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, England and also features a lightweight title fight between champion Rob Sinclair and challenger Leonardo Santos. Also on the card, Joey Villasenor makes his welterweight debut against Che Mills, while Ultimate Fighter Season 8 winner Efrain Escudero locks horns with Tim Radcliffe.

Season 5 Bellator Welterweight Tournament Field & Fights Set

After Jay Hieron captured the Season 4 welterweight crown, Bellator has announced the fighters competing in its Season 5 tournament. The winner receives an automatic title shot against the winner of the Ben Askren-Jay Hieron title fight.

The action begins Sept. 10 on MTV2 from Caesars Atlantic City.

The Season 5 tournament:

Dan Hornbuckle vs. Luis Santos

Ben Saunders vs. Rick Hawn

Brent Weedman vs. Chris Lozano
