Kyle Cerminara and Mtume Goodrum are co-winners of Bellator’s New Jersey open tryouts

Bellator Fighting Championships has crowned two winners from their latest open tryout, which took place at Daddis Fight Camps in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Former All-American Kyle Cerminara and Mtume Goodrum were selected and will fight for the promotion at an upcoming area event.

Cerminara began his professional MMA journey in January, having wrestled for most of his life.  He is a former University of Pennsylvania wrestling coach.

A New Jersey native, Mtume Goodrum entered Bellator’s open tryouts as a relative unknown.  Goodrum put on an impressive display of striking and grappling during the tryouts, and his skills earned him a shot in the promotion.

Also at the Bellator’s open tryouts, two women competed for a spot on a future undercard. Jamie Lowe, wife of UFC veteran Waylon Lowe, participated as well as Bridgette Narcise.
