Following his fourth consecutive loss, TUF Season 2 winner Joe Stevenson has been released by the UFC.

A source close to the UFC confirmed the release Thursday, but the move has not been officially announced yet.

Swick Out Of UFC 134; Replacement To Be Named Shortly

The Ultimate Fighter Season 1 contestant Mike Swick will have to put his UFC return on hold, as he was forced to withdraw from UFC 134 due to injury. His original opponent, Erick Silva, will now wait to see who he will be given.

UFC 134 takes place on Aug. 27 from HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Sokoudjou Signs to Challenge 205-Pound Champion Ryan Jimmo at MFC 31

It was announced Thursday that Maximum Fighting Championship 31 will feature light heavyweight champion Ryan Jimmo defending his belt against newly-signed Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou.

The event takes place on Oct. 7 at the Mayfield Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
