Kazushi Sakuraba set to take on Yan Cabral at DREAM 17

Dream 17 is starting to put together a solid card as MMA legend Kazushi Sakuraba is set to take on Yan Cabral in a middleweight bout.  The card will also feature a bantamweight tournament and Shinya Aoki taking on Rob McCullough.

The card will take place on Sept. 24 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.

Shane Carwin ready to return to fighting in 2012

After dropping two straight fights, Shane Carwin is looking to take some time off to not only fully recover, but get his senses straightened out.  After gassing out in his title fight against Brock Lesnar and then getting knocked around by Junior Dos Santos for three rounds, Carwin is looking to reinvent himself.

He said that he is looking for a return sometime early next year.

The UFC plans to return to Brazil next year

In an interview with Ariel Helwani, Lorenzo Fertitta has revealed that the UFC is planning on returning to Brazil in 2012, for perhaps more than one card.
