Strikeforce Challengers 19 adds more fights

Strikeforce Challengers 19 has added a trio of fights, as welterweights Jason High and Todd Moore take main card status, and two bouts go to the preliminary card: a women’s featherweight bout between Germaine de Randamie and Julie Kedzie and a lightweight bout between Bobby Green and Charon Spain.

Strikeforce Challengers 19 takes place Sept. 23 at The Pearl at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, and its main card airs live on Showtime.


Paul Daley fights at BAMMA 7

UK welterweight Paul Daley will be back in action very soon, as “Semtex” will fight at BAMMA 7.

It has not been confirmed who Daley will face or whether the fight will be the main or co-main event.  The card does feature Frank Trigg versus Jim Wallhead and Efrain Escudero versus Tim Radcliffe.

BAMMA 7 takes place on Sept. 10 at the NIA in Birmingham, England.

Ronnie Mann Faces Kenny Foster at Bellator 53

Bellator 53 is still without a venue, but a featherweight bout between Ronnie Mann and Kenny Foster will grace the Oct. 8 card.

Foster was originally scheduled to fight on the upcoming Bellator 49 show in Atlantic City, N.J., but his opponent Andy Main was forced out of the bout with an injury.


Tachi Palace Fights 145-Pound Ace Yagin Inks Deal with UFC

Tachi Palace Fights featherweight champion Eddie Yagin has signed a multi-fight deal with the UFC.

No announcement has been made by either the organization or the fighter’s camp as of yet, and it is currently unknown when Yagin will debut in the Octagon. The fighter has won seven of his last eight fights. Known as “The Filipino Phenom,” Yagin’s lone loss in the last five years came in 2009, when he fell by technical knockout to Diego Savaiva at Tachi Palace Fights 2.
