Nick Diaz pulled from fight with GSP, Condit steps in

The UFC today announced that Nick Diaz has been removed from his scheduled Oct. 29 title bout against Georges St-Pierre.  The removal comes after Diaz missed a set of public relations appearances hosted by the UFC and failed to respond to UFC president Dana White’s attempts to contact him.  The UFC revealed that former WEC welterweight champion Carlos Condit will replace Diaz in the UFC 137 championship fight, which takes place in Las Vegas.  Condit was scheduled to fight B.J. Penn at the event, but the change leaves Penn without an opponent.  According to White, a new opponent is being secured for Penn.
