Brett Rogers reaches a plea agreement

Former Strikeforce competitor Brett Rogers reached a plea deal in the assault case that cost him his spot with the organization.  Rogers plead guilty to one count of third-degree assault.  Three other charges will be dropped and Rogers expects to avoid jail time.

Rogers was arrested for a brutal attack on his wife this past June.  Soon after the arrest Strikeforce released him from the organization.

The plea agreement ensures that he is available to headline Titan Fighting 20 next week, where he faces UFC veteran Eddie Sanchez.
