Miguel Torres vs. Nick Pace Appear Headed for UFC 139 in San Jose

Miguel Torres, former WEC champ, will look to get back on track as he welcomes Nick Pace at UFC 139 in San Jose, Calif.

Pace first announced the bout on Twitter, with Torres mentioning it later on as well.

Pace dropped his last fight to Ivan Menjivar, making him 1-2 with Zuffa. He needs a win if he wants to stay with the UFC.

Officials have not yet confirmed the fight, but it will likely end up on the preliminary card.

Strikeforce champ Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos faces Hiroko Yamanaka on Dec. 17

It was reported yesterday that Santos would be on the Strikeforce Dec. 17 card, and now she has an opponent.

Japanese fighter Hiroko Yamanaka (12-1 MMA, 0-0 SF) will look to knock off the title-holder.

Strikeforce announced the match-up during Friday night’s Showtime card, Strikeforce Challengers 19.

Also expected on the Dec. 17 card is a lightweight title bout between Gilbert Melendez and Jorge Masvidal.
