Bellator 59 weigh-ins official as all main card fighters make weight

Bellator conducted the official weigh-ins today for Bellator 59, which takes place tomorrow night.  All main card fighters made weight on their first attempt.  Bellator 59 is headlined by Eric Prindle vs. Thiago Santos, which will determine the winner of the heavyweight tournament.

UFC on FX 1 official for Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena; tickets on sale next week

The UFC officially confirmed today that UFC on FX 1 will take place in Nashville at the Bridgestone Arena.  Melvin Guillard vs. Jim Miller will be the main event and Josh Neer vs. Duane Ludwig will also be featured on this card.  Tickets for this event will go on sale next week.

Ian McCall and Rob Emerson latest injuries to strike Tachi Palace Fights 11

Today, officials for Tachi Palace announced two more injuries for Tachi Palace Fights 11.  One half of the main event was forced off the card as flyweight champion Ian McCall was forced out of his bout due to injury.  Former Ultimate Fighter contestant Rob Emerson was also forced to withdraw from his fight due to injury.

HDNet announces four-bout main card for Dec. 10 live broadcast of BAMMA 8

HDNet and the British Mixed Martial Arts promotion BAMMA will officially kick off their multi-year deal on Dec. 10, and the four fights that will air were officially announced today.  HDNet will air featured bouts between Jimi Manuwa vs. Anthony Rea, Joey Villasenor vs. Jim Wallhead, Diego Gonzalez vs. Andre Winner and Paul McVeigh vs. Erik Perez.
