Cerrone, Edwards at UFC on FX 3

Donald Cerrone will fight Yves Edwards at UFC on FX 3, which is scheduled for May 15 at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va. Each lightweight is looking to bounce back from tough losses.

Cerrone will look to build on a strong 2011, fighting in the Octagon five times and winning the first four before losing to Nate Diaz on Dec. 30. Edwards also lost in December to Tony Ferguson at the Ultimate Fighter Finale 14. Given Cerrone’s rising stock and the name recognition in Edwards this may serve as a headlining fight.
