Nick Diaz Tests Positive for Marijuana UFC welterweight Nick Diaz has tested positive for marijuana metabolites for the second time in his career. Today, the Nevada State Athletic Commission confirmed the testing to be positive after fighting Carlos Condit at UFC 143. A possible rematch was rumored between Diaz and Condit, but now will be scratched as Diaz will face disciplinary action. With a six month suspension that could be longer due to this being his second offense, Diaz’s future as a fighter is in jeopardy. A source close to the camp confirmed the news, but no other information is available at this time. During his time at Wolfslair, Bisping has trained with Rampage Jackson and Cheick Kongo, along with coaches Dave Jackson and Mario Neto. Source: MMAJunkie Former TUF Finalist Kris McCray Signs with Bellator Kris “Savage” McCray has signed a multi-fight deal to fight in the Bellator cage. McCray is known for his time spent on The Ultimate Fighter season 11, losing in the finale to Court McGee. After back to back losses, McCray was released by the UFC, but has rebounded with two straight wins coming outside the promotion. No date has been set for McCray to compete, but April is likely for his Bellator debut. Source: MMAWeekly Andreas Kraniotakes vs. Dmitry Poberezhets headlines Cage Warriors 46 on Feb. 23 This month, heavyweights Andres Kraniotakes and Dmitry Poberezhets will headline Cage Warriors 46 in Kiev, Ukraine. The promotion released the date for the event to be Feb. 23, with the event airing live on MMAJunkie.com. The full card has not been finalized yet, but Phil Harris vs. Remi Morvan will also be a feature bout. No venue has been named for Cage Warriors 46 thus far. Source: MMAJunkie UFC Vet Santiago Meets Countryman Pecanha in Titan FC 21 Headliner Veteran of the UFC, Jorge Santiago will fight with the Titan Fighting Championship promotion against fellow Brazilian Leonardo Pecanha. Santiago has not fought since his last bout with the UFC in Oct. 2011. Also on the card is prospects Joe Ellenberger and Anthony Gutierrez. Titan FC 21 will go down on March 2 from the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kan., with the event airing live on HDNet beginning at 9 p.m. ET. Igor Gracie and Alexandre Franca Nogueira were confirmed to compete at Duelo de Titas (Clash of the Titans), a March 24 event at the Aecio Tocantins Gymnasium in the Mato Grossan capital of Cuiaba.
