Elvis Mutapcic (10-2) locked in an armbar in the second round to submit Keenan Curry (2-4)…Bellator veteran Steve Carl (16-3) submitted Mason Temiquel (1-1) by way of a first-round kimura.

March 3
Cage 18: Turku (Turku, Finland)

M-1 Challenge veteran Mikhail Zayats (15-6) scored a second-round TKO, due to doctor’s stoppage, over Juha Saarinen (7-2).

Industry of Combat New Zealand 16 (Auckland, New Zealand)

Brandon Ropati (4-0) earns a decision victory over Bellator veteran Sam Alvey (17-4).

Jewels: 18th Ring (Tokyo)

Takayo Hashi (14-4) earned a unanimous decision over fellow Strikeforce veteran Roxanne Modafferi (15-10).

Lion’s Fight 1: The Beginning (St. Petersburg, Russia)

No. 5-ranked 145-pound female fighter Yana Kunitskaya (7-1) earned a unanimous verdict over Anna Melikhova (0-1).

MEZ Sports: Pandemonium 6 (Riverside, Calif.)

The fight between No. 9-ranked 115-pound female fighter and Bellator veteran Carla Esparza (6-2) and Angela Magana (10-4), which made Sherdog’s 10 March Tussles Worth Watching, was scrapped from the card after Magana was involved in a car accident the morning of the event.

Watch Out Combat Show 18 (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

Giovani Diniz (16-5) took home a unanimous nod over Gustavo Franca (8-6)…Thiago Santos (7-0) remained undefeated with a first-round TKO of Junior Vidal (0-5).

March 4
MMA Against Dengue 2 (Sao Goncalo, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

Sengoku vet Antonio Braga Neto (8-1) needed just 64 seconds to submit UFC and WEC veteran Brock Larson (33-7) via a kneebar…Marcello Salazar (8-1-2) submitted Dimitri Burgo (3-11) in the first round by way of a kimura.
