Industry of Combat New Zealand 16 (Auckland, New Zealand) Brandon Ropati (4-0) earns a decision victory over Bellator veteran Sam Alvey (17-4). Jewels: 18th Ring (Tokyo) Takayo Hashi (14-4) earned a unanimous decision over fellow Strikeforce veteran Roxanne Modafferi (15-10). Lion’s Fight 1: The Beginning (St. Petersburg, Russia) No. 5-ranked 145-pound female fighter Yana Kunitskaya (7-1) earned a unanimous verdict over Anna Melikhova (0-1). MEZ Sports: Pandemonium 6 (Riverside, Calif.) The fight between No. 9-ranked 115-pound female fighter and Bellator veteran Carla Esparza (6-2) and Angela Magana (10-4), which made Sherdog’s 10 March Tussles Worth Watching, was scrapped from the card after Magana was involved in a car accident the morning of the event.
