Fedor Emelianenko Returns to Action in June

“The Last Emperor” will return to the cage in June, but not in the UFC Octagon.

M-1 Global Director of Operations Evgeni Kogan announced on his Twitter account today that Emelianenko will be fighting on June 21 at the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia. No opponent has been matched up with the legend yet, but is expected to be announced soon.

UFC 145 weigh-ins slated for April 20 in Atlanta, Chael Sonnen hosts Q&A

Weigh-ins for “UFC 145: Jones vs. Evans” will take place on April 20 in Atlanta.

While the Philips Arena will host the pay-per-view event, the nearby Fox Theatre will host the weigh-ins.

Atlanta fight fans will also get a treat by joining UFC middleweight Chael Sonnen in a Q&A session, which begins at 2 p.m. ET. Doors will open at 1 p.m. ET for UFC Fight Club members, 3 p.m. ET for everyone. Fighters will tip the scales at 4 p.m. ET.

Michael Chandler vs. Akihiro Gono Tops Bellator 67 Fight Card

Bellator Fighting Championships announced today that lightweight champion Michael Chandler will make his first title defense at Bellator 67.

He will take on 32-fight winner Akihiro Gono on May 4 at the Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario, Canada.

After a spectacular fight against Eddie Alvarez to win the belt, Chandler is looking to prove once again why he deserves to be called the lightweight champion.

Bellator 67 will broadcast live on MTV2 starting a 8 p.m. ET on May 4.

Sean Pierson Announces UFC on FX 3 Bout with Jake Hecht on June 8

Sean Pierson will meet Jake Hecht when the UFC returns to the “sunshine state” on June 8.

Pierson announced the bout on his Twitter account saying, “Hey Guys. It’s now Official. My next UFC event will be FX3 & I will take on Jake Hecht in Ft Lauderdale Florida June 8th!!!”

Also on the card will be a rematch between flyweights Demetrious Johnson and Ian McCall.

UFC on FX 3 takes place on June 8 from the BankAtlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. FX will broadcast the main card, with the prelims airing on Fuel TV.

Tim Means vs. Justin Salas Completes 12-Bout UFC on FX 3 Fight Card

After many recently annouced UFC on FX 3, the last fight has been made to complete 12-fight card.

Two men that made their debuts at UFC on Fuel TV 1 will clash on June 8, as Tim Means will take on Justin Salas.

The lightweight are apart of a card that is headlined by Demetrious Johnson vs. Ian McCall in a flyweight rematch.

UFC on FX 3 takes place on June 8 from the BankAtlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

UFC on FX 3 tickets for June 8 Fort Lauderdale show on sale next week

Florida MMA fans get ready, as UFC on FX 3 tickets will go on sale next week.

No ticket prices have been made thus far, but will go on sale to the public next Friday.

As for UFC Fight Club members, tickets will be open on April 11 at 10 a.m. ET, and for UFC.com e-newsletter subscribers on April 12 at 10 a.m. ET.

Mitch Clarke vs. Anton Kuivanen added to UFC 149 in Calgary

A bout between lightweights Mitch Clarke and Anton Kuivanen have been added to UFC 149.

UFC announced the fight today, that will be on the card when UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo will compete.

UFC 149 takes place on July 21 from the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Clarke and Kuivanen will likely be apart of the preliminary card.
