Retired UFC welterweight Chris Lytle is set to put on a free MMA seminar on Saturday, June 16 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. PT at the Huntington Beach Ultimate Training Center in Huntington Beach, Calif.

The seminar, sponsored by athletic apparel company 100 Percent Clean, will educate people about the dangers of steroids and performance enhancing drugs, as well as help attendees learn new techniques in MMA.

Additionally, all donations made during the seminar will be given to the Taylor Hooton Foundation. The foundation is committed to educating people about the life-threatening dangers of Appearance and Performance Enhancing Drugs (APEDs).

Lytle spoke about the upcoming event, “It is an honor to work with 100 Percent Clean and the Taylor Hooton Foundation. As a professional athlete and father of four, I have always been against the use of PEDs. I am excited to help spread this important message to youth and adults alike.”

“We could not think of a better athlete to represent our brand and convey our message,” 100 Percent Clean, Chief Operating Officer Joe Martin, said about the event, “Chris Lytle embodies all of our values of hard work, sacrifice and ethics and he demonstrated them throughout his UFC and MMA career. We are excited about this seminar and hope that people not only have a great time but learn about the dangers of PEDs in the process.”

Kyle F. Purdy, Vice President of the Taylor Hooton Foundation stated, “(We) applaud the efforts of athletes like Chris who understand that cheating to win, is not winning at all.”
