UFC 146 Pre-fight Press Conference (Video) The MMA Corner Staff May 24, 2012 Events, Video On Thursday, May 24, the UFC will hold a pre-fight press conference for its upcoming UFC 146 event which takes place from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 26 in Las Vegas. Featured at the press conference will be the event’s entire main card, consisting of 10 heavyweight combatants. The main event features a heavyweight title tilt between current champion Junior dos Santos and former champion Frank Mir. In the co-main event, another former champion, Cain Velasquez, welcomes Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva to the UFC. Also on the main card will be Ultimate Fighter winner Roy Nelson facing Dave Herman, undefeated prospects Stipe Miocic and Shane Del Rosario, and fast-rising Strikeforce crossover Lavar Johnson meets Stefan Struve. Saturday’s main card will air live on pay-per-view starting at 10 p.m. ET. The preliminary card will be split between an 8 p.m. ET broadcast on FX and a Facebook stream that begins at 6:45 p.m. ET. The press conference will begin at 2 p.m. ET. UFC commentator Jon Anik will oversee the event. A full stream of the action will appear below.
