Junior dos Santos and Frank Mir set to make $200k for their UFC 146 title fight

According to Nevada State Athletic Commission Executive Director, Keith Kizer, dos Santos and Mir will make an disclosed flat pay of $200k for their headlining UFC 146 title fight.

Also confirmed was Cain Velasquez’s $100,000 disclosed show money and his $100,000 win bonus. Velasquez faces Antonio “Big Foot” Silva who will make a flat $70k in his co-main event fight.

Karo Parisyan vs. John Gunderson will headline ShoFights on June 16

Parisyan was expected to face Shamar Bailey on his path back to the UFC, but now due to injury Bailey will be replaced with another UFC vet,  John Gunderson, in the headlining fight.

Gunderson is coming off of a win over another UFC vet and Team Alpha Male member, Justin Buchholz in February.

Gunderson and Parisyan are just a couple of many UFC, Pride and Strikeforce vets on the card that also includes Kendall Grove and Shonie Carter.

Brian Stann’s Hire Heros USA partners up with Call of Duty to benefit US military veterans

Fun fact, outside of the cage Brian Stann is the president of Hire Heros USA.

Now, Hire Heros has partnered up with the video game Call of Duty for a special Memorial Day campaign to raise awareness about the issue of veterans unemployment when they come home from overseas.

The Call of Duty endowment will give $1 for each image share the campaign receives on Facebook from May 24 to June 1. The two partnered up last year and the partnership raised $36,000 for the non-profit organization.
