UFC 146 draws almost 15,000 fans and makes $3.4 million

The MMA Corner has learned through the Nevada State Athletic Commission that last weekend’s all heavyweight main card sold 11,428 tickets for a gate of $3,248,775.

UFC 146 drew in 14,674 fans with 3,426 people receiving their tickets for free. UFC 146 only failed to sell 276 tickets.

Kenny Robertson to replace Jon Fitch against Aaron Simpson at UFC on Fuel TV 4

Welterweight Jon Fitch is injured with an injury to his knee and his replacement at UFC on Fuel TV 4 will be Kenny Robertson.

Robertson will welcome newly turned welterweight, Aaron Simpson, to the division. The replacement was announced on UFC Tonight which airs on Fuel TV.

This will be Robertson’s second go at the UFC after he had one fight with the promotion in 2011 in a loss to Mike Pierce by TKO.

Simpson drops down to welterweight after he lost a split decision to Ronny Markes in February.

Brian Stann out of his UFC on Fox 4 fight with Hector Lombard

Brian Stann was set to welcome former Bellator middleweight champion, Hector Lombard, to the UFC in August in what was to be the headlining fight at UFC on Fox 4.

Stann has been forced out of the fight due to a knee injury though and it is not clear whether Lombard will stay on the card or not.

UFC on Fox 4 goes down in Los Angeles at the Staples Center on Aug. 4.

Ken Stone to face Francisco Rivera due to injury to Edwin Figueroa

At UFC on FX 4, Edwin Figueroa has pulled out of his fight against Ken Stone due to injury. Stepping in for Figueroa on June 22 will be Francisco Rivera.

After back-to-back knockouts outside of the UFC, Rivera returned to the promotion last month and beat Alex Soto at UFC on Fuel TV 3.

UFC on FX 4 takes place in Atlantic City later this month and is headlined by a lightweight fight between Clay Guida and Gray Maynard.

Zorobabel Moreira steps in for Phil Baroni against Roger Huerta at One FC 4

When Phil Baroni lost by TKO last weekend, he gave up his chance to fight Roger Huerta later this month.

Instead, Huerta will now meet Brazilian Zorobabel Moreira. Moreira is currently on a four-fight win streak that includes two wins in One FC.

Huerta is currently 1-5 in his last six fights and is on a three-fight losing streak that includes losses to Pat Curran, Eddie Alvarez and War Machine. Huerta’s lone win in that span comes two years ago against Chad Hinton at Bellator 13.

One FC 4 takes place in Malaysia on June 23.
