On Tuesday, June 12, the UFC will hold a press conference to officially announce its upcoming UFC 150 event which takes place from the Pepsi Center on Aug. 11 in Denver.

Featured at the press conference will be the event’s headlining combatants, UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson and former champ Frankie Edgar. The pair will battle in a rematch of their UFC 144 bout in which Henderson claimed the belt with a decision victory.

Thus far, seven bouts have been revealed for the summer event. Based on past events, four to five more fights are expected to be announced in the near future.

The event marks what appears to be the promotion’s annual return to the “Mile High City.” Last September the same venue hosted UFC 135 and the the company previously visited the nearby suburb of Broomfield in March of 2010 and April of 2008.

Tickets to the event will go on sale this week through Tickethorse.com. Members of the UFC Fight Club will have the first access on Wednesday, with newsletter subscribers having an opportunity to purchase tickets on Thursday, and the general public sale begins on Friday.

The press conference will begin at 1 p.m. ET. A full stream of the action will appear below.
