Carlos Eduardo Rocha has been cut from the UFC roster

According to an interview with Tatame, Rocha has been cut from the UFC following his loss to Mike Pierce at UFC on FX 3.

“I went there to fight MMA and he wants to win by points,” Rocha told Tatame. “… This is bull(expletive). … I had good performances and even so I was cut off. I didn’t expect this. … He didn’t attack me on the clinch, he didn’t hit me or let me hit him. That’s not MMA.”

Rocha is on a two-fight losing streak after losses to the aforementioned Pierce and a loss to Jake Ellenberger that saw Rocha score a controversial 30-27 on one judge’s scorecard. Rocha opened his UFC stint with a kneebar victory of TUF alum, Kris McCray at UFC 122. Rocha was 9-0 up until his loss to Ellenberger.
