Flyweight title fight to main event UFC 152, Bisping vs. Stann to co-main event

The conclusion of the UFC flyweight tournament to claim the title will come to an end at UFC 152 on Sept. 22 in Toronto.

The main event title fight will feature Joseph Benavidez who earned his spot after dismantling Yasuhiro Urushitani at UFC on FX 2 and earned “Knockout of the Night” honors for the performance.

Joining him in the finals is Demetrious Johnson who had to face Ian McCall two times after a scoring error by the Australian commission forced a second fight between the two.

Also joining them on the card will be a co-main event of Brian Stann and Michael Bisping in what could potentially line up either fighter for a No. 1 contender’s bout.

The two middleweights are fighting to get back to where they once were after Bisping lost to Chael Sonnen earlier this year. Stann lost to Sonnen last October but has since picked up a win over Alessio Sakara.

B.J. Penn and Rory MacDonald also help round out what could be a really great card for the Toronto crowd.

Title fight between Will Campuzano and Jimmy Flick added to Legacy FC 13

After last night’s title fight with Chad Robichaux ran into problems, Will Campuzano will get another flyweight title fight but this time with Jimmy Flick.

Robichaux pulled out of last night’s fight due to kidney problems and weight cut issues. Robichaux will now be replaced at Legacy FC 13 by Jimmy Flick who is only two years into his pro career amassing a record of 5-0.

Campuzano is a former UFC and WEC fighter but due to two straight losses in early 2011 he was cut by Zuffa. Campuzano is currently riding a two-fight win streak with both wins coming by some sort of finish.
