On Saturday, Aug. 11, the UFC hosted UFC 150 from the Pepsi Center in Denver.
The event featured a quartet of lightweights. UFC champion Benson Henderson put his 155-pound strap on the line for the first time in a rematch with the man who he took the belt from, Frankie Edgar. In the co-main event, Donald Cerrone battled former teammate Melvin Guillard for a place in title contention.
In addition to the two lighteight bouts, the main card also featured former title challenger Jake Shields returning to middleweight to face Ed Herman, veteran Yushin Okami looked to snap a two-fight skid against Buddy Roberts, and Ultimate Fighter: Live combatant Justin Lawrence took on Max Holloway. An additional five fights filled the night’s preliminary card.
Saturday’s main card aired live on pay-per-view starting at 10 p.m. ET. The preliminary card was shown on FX beginning at 8 p.m. ET, with a single fight streaming live on Facebook/YouTube at 7:30 p.m. ET.
