Invicta FC 3 card set with 13 bouts

The main event will be for the promotion’s atomweight belt between Jessica Penne and Naho Sugiyama. The co-main event is a bantamweight fight with Shayna Baszler vs. Sarah D’Alelio. Invicta FC 3 takes place Oct. 6 and also features:

Barb Honchak vs. Aisling Daly

Tara Larosa vs. Vanessa Porto

Leslie Smith vs. Cat Zingano

Michelle Waterson vs. Lacey Schuckman

Julia Budd vs. Elaina Maxwell

Three fights announced for UFC on Fox 5

The UFC’s fifth installment on Fox will feature a lightweight title fight between champion Benson Henderson and Nate Diaz. Also on the card former light heavyweight champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua will face Alexander Gustafsson, while multi-divisional champ B.J. Penn takes on Rory MacDonald.

UFC on Fox 5 is expected to take place Dec. 8 but an official location and venue are yet to be formally announced.

Chael Sonnen moves to light heavyweight, receives opponent

Sonnen is expected to meet former UFC light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin at  a not-yet scheduled event. Rumors are the fight will possibly take place in December of this year in Las Vegas.

Bellator 73 loses bout from preliminary card

Marcus “Lelo” Aurelio is off the card due to injury, missing his Bellator debut. His originally scheduled opponent Amaechi Oselukwue will now meet  Kelvin Tiller.
