Kendall Grove inks multi-fight deal with AFC

“Da Spyder” is the newest addition to the Aggressive Fighting Championship.

Grove is expected to debut and co-headline on the Nov. 3 AFC 13 card. The event will be headlined by John Alessio vs. Dave Mazany and takes place in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

No opponent has been announced for the Hawaiian. Grove has won four of five since parting ways with the UFC.

Zingano returns to Invicta with Strikeforce cancellation

Cat Zingano was expected to meet Amanda Nunes at Strikeforce: Melendez vs. Healy but that has changed with the cancellation of the event.

Zingano now serves as a replacement for an injured Kim Connar-Hamby for the Invicta FC 3 card. The unbeaten Zingano will meet Raquel Pennington in a bantamweight affair.

Invicta FC 3 will be held on Oct. 6 at the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kan. Fans can catch a free live stream of the event at InvictaFC.com

Joe Warren returns to action at Bellator 80

The former Bellator featherweight champion will face Owen Evinger in a non-tournament bantamweight fight.

Warren has been out of action since he was knocked out by Pat Curran, who subsequently took his championship belt.

Bellator 80 takes place on Nov. 9.
