UFC on Fuel TV 5: Struve vs. Miocic Weigh-ins (Video)

On Friday, Sept. 28, the UFC held the weigh-ins for UFC on Fuel TV 5 from the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, England. The Sept. 29 event takes place from the same venue. Twenty-one of the 22 fighters made weight as DaMarques Johnson came in at 183 pounds for his 175-pound catchweight with Gunnar Nelson.

The night’s main event features a battle of rising heavyweight contenders as towering, 6-foot-11 Dutchman Stefan Struve takes on the undefeated Stipe Miocic. The winner will have quite the case for a title shot sometime in the coming year.

The card is littered with fights that are sure to produce fireworks as Dan Hardy takes on Amir Sadollah, Yves Jabouin faces off with Brad Pickett, Paul Sass puts his undefeated record on the line against veteran Matt Wiman, Brits John Hathaway and John Maguire do battle, and noted strikers Duane Ludwig and Che Mills round out the main card.

An additional six fights fill the night’s preliminary card.

Saturday’s main card will air live on Fuel TV starting at 4 p.m. ET. The preliminary card will stream live on Facebook/YouTube at 1 p.m. ET.

The fighters hit the scales to weigh-in at 11 a.m. ET today. A stream of the action, as well as the full results, appears below.
