UFC on FX 5: Browne vs. Bigfoot Post-Fight Press Conference (Video)

On Friday, Oct. 5, the UFC held its fifth installment of its FX broadcast events from the Target Center in Minneapolis. It marked the promotion’s first visit to Minnesota since UFC 87, which took place from the same venue.

The night’s main event featured a battle of heavyweights as the towering and undefeated Travis Browne locked horns with Strikeforce and EliteXC veteran Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva.

The main card also hosted a flyweight No. 1 contender bout between Ultimate Fighter winner John Dodson and Brazilian submission ace Jussier “Formiga” da Silva. Also veteran welterweight Jay Hieron returned to the promotion to face off with knockout artist Jake Ellenberger and hard-nosed Josh Neer battled Justin Edwards.

An additional eight fights filled the night’s preliminary card, which was split between a Fuel TV broadcast and Facebook/YouTube stream.

Friday’s main card aired live on FX starting at 8 p.m. ET. The preliminary card was shown on FX at 5 p.m. ET, while two fights streamed live on Facebook/YouTube at 4 p.m. ET.

The press conference will begin approximately 30 minutes after the bout between Browne and Silva comes to a close. A stream of the action appears below.
