Colorado Boxing Commission confirms Shields’ suspension, overturns his UFC 150 win to no contest Last week Jake Shields in a prepared statement e-mailed to MMA Junkie revealed he had been suspended by the Colorado Boxing Commission for testing positive for a banned substance. The Commission confirmed the suspension today. Shields’ UFC 150 over Ed Herman has been overturned to a no contest and Shields has also been suspended for six months including fines totaling $5,675. The substance Shields has tested positive for has not been named.
