Last week Jake Shields in a prepared statement e-mailed to MMA Junkie revealed he had been suspended by the Colorado Boxing Commission for testing positive for a banned substance. The Commission confirmed the suspension today.

Shields’ UFC 150 over Ed Herman has been overturned to a no contest and Shields has also been suspended for six months including fines totaling $5,675.

The substance Shields has tested positive for has not been named.

Ten days ago, UFC on FX 5 occurred and now we have the release of the show and win bonuses of each participating fighter. The event overall produced a payroll of $538,000 with welterweight Jake Ellenberger earning $84,000 and heavyweight Antonio Silva coming in second with $70,000.

In a press release obtained by The MMA Corner, Tachi Palace Fights 15 has released its fight card for the Nov. 15 event. The event is headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between Angel Deanda and Anthony Ruiz. In the co-main event, Rolando Velasco takes on Beebe brother, Carson.
