Chad Mendes will fight at UFC on FX 6

The featherweight and former title challenger will meet Hacran Dias at the Dec. 15 event to be aired live on FX.

Mendes is 3-1 in the UFC, with his only defeat coming at the hands of the champion Jose Aldo. Dias is 1-0 in the UFC and holds only one defeat in 23 fights.

The fight’s placement on the card is unknown at this time but the card will be headlined by the coaches of the Austrailia-based season of TUF: The Smashes, Ross Pearson and George Sotiropoulos.

Bantamweight bout added to UFC on FOX 5

TUF 14 cast memeber T.J. Dillashaw and Mike Easton have verbally agreed to meet at the Dec. 8 card in Seattle.

The UFC on FOX 5 main card will air live on FOX and is headlined by a lightweight championship bout between champion Benson Henderson and challenger Nate Diaz.

TUF 16 Finale gets featherweight and flyweight bouts

Dustin Poirier, coming off a losing effort in a candidate for fight of the year against Chan Sung Jung is expected to meet fellow featherweight Jonathan Brookins at the event.

Flyweight Tim Elliot looks to right his ship against Jared Papazian who will be making his debut in the weight class.

The TUF 16 Finale airs live on FX Dec. 15 from Las Vegas.

Decisions made in failed UFC 149 drug tests

Matt Riddle and Francisco Rivera won their respective bouts at UFC 149 but failed drug tests from each resulted in their fights being ruled as no contests.

Riddle failed his test for marijuana and Rivera for a banned over the counter stimulant.
