Heavyweights Antonio “Minotauro” Nogueira and Fabricio Werdum will coach against each other on the UFC’s second installment of Brazilian reality show. The pair will meet in a customary showdown fight expected in June.
Season two begins taping January in Brazil.
Former Ultimate Fighter competitors John Cofer and Mike Rio will square off at the season 16 finale.
Cofer most recently lost in the Octagon to Justin Lawrence via head kick KO and Rio will be making his UFC debut.
Welterweight Matt Riddle was expected to face Besam Yousef at the UFC 154 event but an injury has taken Yousef out and John Maguire will take his place against Riddle.
Maguire is 18-4 and looking to bounce back from a loss to John Hathaway in his last fight. Riddle is 6-3 (1) NC; coming of a win that was later turned to a no contest due to a failed drug test for marijuana.
Kyle Noke is out of the UFC on FX 6 event with an arm injury. Mike Pierce will now step in to face Seth Baczynski in a welterweight fight on the Dec. 14 event.
