Bisping-Belfort to headline Jan. 19 Brazil event

The UFC has officially announced its Jan. 19 event in Brazil, which will be UFC on FX 7. At this time, no city or venue have been revealed for the event, but the entire 12-fight card has now been released by the promotion. It will mark the second straight year that Brazil has hosted the company’s first event of the calendar year, having hosted UFC 142 last January.

In the main event middleweights Michael Bisping and Vitor Belfort will battle for their place in the 185-pound title picture.

UFC 155 gets featherweights Garcia and McKenzie

The Dec. 29 UFC 155 event in Las Vegas has added a featherweight contest between veteran Leonard Garcia and TUF alum Cody McKenzie.

The event takes place from the MGM Grand Garden Arena and is headlined by a heavyweight title rematch between current champion Junior dos Santos and the man he took the belt from, Cain Velasquez. The main card will air live on pay-per-view, while the prelims will be shown on FX.
