Three fights added to UFC on Fox 6

Clay Guida will be making his featherweight debut when he steps into the Octagon on Jan. 26 in Chicago.  The former lightweight will be taking on Hatsu Hioki in his debut at the weight class, which should prove to be a challenge.  Recently, Hoiki was offered a title fight against Jose Aldo, but turned it down when he felt he was not ready for the fight.

Heavyweights Mike Russow and Shawn Jordan will also fight one another at the event.  Both fighters are coming off of a loss as Russow was defeated by Fabricio Werdum at UFC 147 and Jordan lost to Cheick Kongo at UFC 149.

Another featherweight contest has been added to the card, as Erik Koch will square off with Ricardo Lamas. Until an injury, Koch was scheduled to take on champion Jose Aldo, while Lamas recently defeated Hioki.

Six month suspension for Herman

After testing positive to having marijuana in his system after his fight at UFC 153, heavyweight Dave Herman was suspended by the UFC for six months.  Because the event took place in Brazil, the promotion acted as its own regulatory commission at the event.

As a part of the suspension, Herman agreed to take part in drug-rehabilitation.

This is the second time in his career that he has failed a drug test.
