Cris Cyborg’s Doctors Shoot Down Move to 135 Pounds

Cris Cyborg and Ronda Rousey are going to need to compromise in order to fight one another. Cyborg met with some members of the medical field about possibly cutting down to 135 pounds to fight Rousey. The doctors advised Cyborg that the cut would be extremely unhealthy for her and could also prevent her from carrying a child later in life.

Cyborg reportedly walks around at 160 pounds and will be unable to fight at that small of a weight. With the UFC only looking to add the women’s bantamweight division, Cyborg could be looking for work outside the Octagon.
