This episode kicked off with a recap of last episode, when Team UK teammates Norman Parke and Brendan Loughnane squared off. Parke walked away with the unanimous decision.

In the house, Xavier Lucas gave Team Australia stories about his time in the South African special forces. His stories showed the intense operations he experienced while employed in that career.

In the Team Australia locker room, coach George Sotiropolous told Robert Whittaker and Xavier Lucas that the coaches were not going to take sides or corner either fighter. He tells them to pick three teammates to corner them, which they do. Xavier chooses Richie Vaculik, Ben Alloway and Patrick Iodice. Robert takes Grant Blackler, Ben Wall and James Vainikolo.

Later on, a bet between Wall and the Aussie coaches is recapped from last episode, where Wall must stay under a certain weight or his eyebrow will be shaved. He is shown eating a lot, as well as seeing a doctor who tells him he has a slight tear in his MCL, which eliminates him from doing hard training. During a random weigh-in, Wall weighed in overweight and the coaching staff shaved his eyebrow off.

Team UK is shown training when several Australian rugby players show up to train with them. They were invited by assistant coach Dean Amasinger, who sometimes works with one of the players. Although none of the UK guys know who they are, some of the Australians were starstruck when they entered the gym.

The weigh-ins went without incident. Both Whittaker and Lucas weighed in at 170.5 pounds and the fight was on.

Robert Whittaker vs. Xavier Lucas

The first round started off with a feeling out process between the two. Lucas worked the jab, while Whittaker used leg kicks and threw several combinations with his hands. Before the midway point of the round, Whittaker clipped Lucas behind the ear with a right hand that stunned him. Whittaker pounced with follow-up ground strikes and the ref stepped in to stop the bout.

Official Result: Robert Whittaker def. Xavier Lucas via TKO (punches)

After the fight, Brad Scott and Robert Whittaker squared off in the cage, as the welterweight finals are set. Scott is tried to keep a straight face, while Whittaker was all business with no smirks.

Next week, the last semifinal will occur, as Team UK’s Colin Fletcher meets Richie Vaculik of Team Australia. The winner of that bout will fight Norman Parke in the finale.
