On Thursday, Dec. 13, the UFC held the weigh-ins for its upcoming UFC on FX 6 event which takes place from the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia on Dec. 14. The event marks the first time that the promotion has visited an Australian location other than Sydney. All 20 combatants made weight for the event.

The event is headlined by a lightweight clash between the coaches of The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes, George Sotiropoulos and Ross Pearson.

In addition to the 155-pound main event, the FX-televised main card also features the finals of the Australian reality show. In the welterweight final, the UK’s Brad Scott faces off with Australia’s Robert Whittaker, while Team UK’s Colin Fletcher and Norman Parke lock horns in the lightweight final. A pivotal middleweight collision between former Bellator champion Hector Lombard and dangerous submission ace Rousimar Palhares rounds out the night’s main card.

The event will feature a total of 10 bouts. A two-hour, four-fight showcase will air on FX beginning at 9 p.m. ET, while a three-hour, six-fight preliminary card will be broadcast on Fuel TV beginning at 6 p.m. ET.
