Cote Joins Welterweight All-Stars at UFC 158

Just recently, Canadian Patrick Cote announced he is moving to welterweight. After a few days, “The Predator” already has an opponent for his 170 pound debut.

Cote will fight former Strikeforce welterweight Bobby Voelker at UFC 158 in his home country of Canada.

The two men will join a stacked night of welterweight bouts, with Georges St-Pierre defending his title against Nick Diaz in the main event.

UFC 158 takes place on March 16 from the Bell Centre in Montreal.

Jardine/Robertson On for Anaheim

The UFC 157 lineup continues to come together, as a welterweight bout has been made.

Brock Jardine takes on Kenny Robertson, as the two return to the UFC in hopes of staying with the promotion.

UFC 157 takes place from the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., on Feb. 23.

UFC on FOX 6 main card set with Koch-Lamas; FX and Facebook prelims official

Next month’s UFC on FOX 6 event has been finalized, which takes place on Jan. 26 from the United Center in Chicago.

The event will feature four bouts on FOX, six FX prelim fights, and one other fight on Facebook.

Jorge Masvidal scratches from ‘Strikeforce: Marquardt vs. Saffiedine’

A back injury has forced Jorge Masvidal out of his bout with Pat Healy on the final Strikeforce card on Jan. 12.

Healy was expected to fight Gilbert Melendez for the lightweight title, but an injury to Melendez pushed Healy to the prelims against Masvidal.

No official announcement has been made on Healy’s replacement.

Trio of Lightweight Tournament Quarterfinals Highlight Bellator 87 Lineup in Michigan

The Bellator Season 8 lightweight tournament will kick off at Bellator 87 on Jan. 31 from the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mount Pleasant, Mich.

Brazilain Patricky “Pitbull” Freire will look to end his two fight losing streak as he takes on Guillaume DeLorenzi, along with David Rickels battling Lloyd Woodard and Alexander Sarnavskiy vs. Thiago Michel Pereira Silva.

The event will broadcast live on Spike TV.

One FC 7 Card Features Kojima-Docyogen Title Eliminator, 4th Bantamweight Quarterfinal

A matchup between former Shooto world champion Shinichi Kojima and unbeaten Rey Docyogen will determine the number one contender for the vacant flyweight title.

Also confirmed for One FC 7 is the final bantamweight quarterfinal tournament bout, as Ryan Diaz takes on Thanh Vu.

One FC 7 takes place on Feb. 2 from the Stadium Putra in Kuala Lumpur.
