UFC 155: Dos Santos vs. Velasquez II Weigh-ins (Video) The MMA Corner Staff December 28, 2012 Events, Video On Friday, Dec. 28, the UFC held the weigh-ins for its upcoming UFC 155 event which takes place from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Dec. 29. All 24 fighters made weight for the event. The event is headlined by a heavyweight title rematch between current champion Junior dos Santos and the man he defeated to capture the belt, Cain Velasquez. In addition to the main event, the pay-per-view main card also features a pivotal lightweight clash between Jim Miller and Joe Lauzon, as well as a trio of middleweight bouts as Tim Boetsch faces Constantinos Philippou, Alan Belcher locks horns with Yushin Okami and Chris Leben returns from suspension to welcome Strikeforce-import Derek Brunson to the Octagon. The event will feature a total of 12 bouts. A two-hour, four-fight showcase will air on FX, while three bouts will stream via the promotion’s YouTube page. Saturday’s main card will air live on pay-per-view starting at 10 p.m. ET. The preliminary card will be split between an 8 p.m. ET FX broadcast and a YouTube stream beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.
