SOURCE: MMA Junkie Eddie Alvarez’s potential contract revealed It is no secret that Eddie Alvarez is in a bit of a contract war between his former employer at Bellator and the UFC. Should he sign with the UFC, he could receive an immediate title shot in March along with an eight-fight deal and profit from pay-per-views. His pay check would start at $70,000 to show and the same amount as a win bonus, with $5,000 raises with each victory all the way until it tops off at $210,000. Additionally, he would receive a $250,000 signing bonus. But that isn’t all. Alvarez would get $1 for every pay-per-view buy between 200,000 and 400,000, $2 for every buy between 400,000 and 600,000, and $2.50 for any buy higher than that. And for additional exposure, the former Bellator lightweight champion would get at least one fight on a UFC on Fox card. While Bellator cannot compete with the last two conditions to the contract, they did match the money that the UFC offered strictly for fighting.
