Alvarez/Bellator legal battle to conclude on Friday with possible UFC 159 co-headliner in the balance

Eddie Alvarez’s legal battle with Bellator Fighting Championships heads to court on Friday, and the end result could mean more than expected at first glance. While very possible that the battle leads to a trial date, the verdict of the trial could clear Alvarez to co-headline UFC 159. Until the verdict of the hearing, however, Alvarez’s opponent remains a mystery.
