On Wednesday, Jan. 23, the UFC will hold a press conference to officially announce its upcoming UFC 158 event which takes place from the Bell Center on March 16 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The promotion most recently visited the city and venue in November of last year.

Featured at the press conference will be the event’s headlining combatants, UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and former Strikeforce champion Nick Diaz, as well as UFC President Dana White. The pair were expected to meet at UFC 137 in late 2010, but an ACL injury to St-Pierre prevented the bout from happening.

Thus far, 12 bouts have been revealed for the spring event. In addition to the main event, the main card features a quartet of welterweight contenders as Carlos Condit battles Rory MacDonald and Jake Ellenberger meets Johny Hendricks. Also on deck for the pay-per-view broadcast are middleweight TUF alums Chris Camozzi and Nick Ring, plus former title challenger Patrick Cote drops to welterweight to welcome Strikeforce-import Bobby Voelker to the promotion.

Tickets to the event will go on sale this week through Ticketmaster.
