Brian Rogers vs. Dan Cramer middleweight tournament fight booked for Bellator 89

The first of Bellator’s season eight middleweight tournament fights has been announced for Bellator 89.

Brian Rogers will take on Dan Cramer at Bellator 89 in what will most likely be followed by three other middleweight fights added to the card.

Taking place at Bojanles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina, Bellator 89 is headlined by Eduardo Dantas’ first defense of his bantamweight title when he fights Marcos Galvao at the event.

Bellator 89 is expected to take place on Valentine’s Day, February 14 airing live on Spike TV and the preliminary card airing on Spike.com.

Natal/Spencer moved to FX prelims, Mitchell/Thorensen moved to Facebook

For tomorrow night’s UFC on Fox 6 card, some minor alterations have been made to the lineup in the prelims.

Being promoted to the FX prelim card will be a middleweight fight between Rafael Natal and Sean Spencer. Also, welterweight fight between David Mitchell and Simeon Thorensen has been demoted to the Facebook prelim section and will be the lone fight, airing at 4:30 p.m. EST.

The FX prelims begin airing at 5 p.m. EST, airing live from the United Center in Chicago.

BAMMA 12 set for March 9

BAMMA has been waiting to release the date for the next event and today, in a press release obtained by The MMA Corner, BAMMA 12 has been announced for March 9.

BAMMA 12 will take place Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena and no fights have yet been announced for the card.

BAMMA 12 will air on AXS TV here in the United States and tickets for the event in Newcastle, England will go on sale on February 1.
