UFC 156: Antonio Rogerio Nogueira Pre-Fight Interview (Video) The MMA Corner Staff January 31, 2013 UFC, Video On Saturday, Feb. 2, the UFC will hold UFC 156 from the Mandalay Events Center in Las Vegas. The event will feature a featherweight title fight between champion Jose Aldo and former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar. The fight marks one of the most-anticipated superfights in recent memory. Saturday’s main card will air live on pay-per-view starting at 10 p.m. ET. The preliminary card will be split between a 8 p.m. ET FX broadcast and a YouTube stream beginning at 7 p.m. ET. In addition to the main event, the main card also features former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans facing off with Brazilian Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. The 36-year-old Nogueira is looking to break into title contention with a win over the former title holder. The Pride and Affliction veteran has had an up-an-down run in the UFC, going 3-2 thus far. “Minotoro” fell against decorated wrestlers Ryan Bader and Phil Davis, escaped a narrow decision against Jason Brilz, but scored devastating finishes of Luiz Cane and former light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz.
