Four bouts added to UFC on Fox 7

The undercard for the seventh installment of UFC on Fox became crowded with 155-pound fighters as four lightweight matches have been added to the card.

Norman Parke, fresh off of his recent TUF: The Smashes championship, will take on Jon Tuck.  Myles Jury is set to take on Ramsey Nijem, Strikeforce veterans Roger Bowling and Jorge Masvidal will meet, while Anthony Njokuani will battle Tim Means.

The main event of the night will be yet another lightweight fight, as champion Ben Henderson puts his title on the line against former Strikeforce champion, Gilbert Melendez.

UFC on Fox 7 takes place on Saturday, April 20 in San Jose, Calif.


Easton-Pickett added to UFC on Fuel TV 9

There has been a new fight added to the card for when the next time the UFC heads over the Atlantic Ocean to Sweden.  Brad Pickett will take on Mike Easton in a bantamweight fight between two fighters coming off of a loss.  Easton recently was out pointed by Rafael Assuncao, while Pickett lost in the same manor his last time out against Eddie Wineland.

UFC on Fuel TV 9 takes place in Stockholm on April 6.

XFC signs “Sapo” Santos

Bellator veteran Luis Santos has inked a contract with Xtreme Fighting Championships.  “Sapo” will enter the promotion’s welterweight division, but according to a press release, the Brazilian is willing, ready, and able to take a fight at both middleweight and lightweight.

Under the Nogueira brothers, Santos holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.  He currently trains in Coconut Creek, Fla. with American Top Team.  “Sapo” is currently set to make his promotional debut at “XFC 23: Louisville Slugfest” on April 19 in Louisville, Kent. against a currently unannounced opponent.

Two new fights added to Legacy  FC 19

A couple of new fights have been added to Legacy FC 19.

Robert Drysdale will take on D.J. Linderman in a light heavyweight fight.  Drysdale is known well for his submission skills, while Linderman is a fighter who is more well rounded, having won four fights by submission and four by knockout.

Additionally, with Junior Assuncao having to withdraw from his fight due against Chris Jones to injury, Ray Trujilo will fill in as a replacement.

Legacy FC 19 takes place on April 12 in Allen, Texas.
