The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale slated for April 13 in Las Vegas is quickly taking shape.

Today it was revealed that the event will be headlined by a flyweight title fight between champion Demetrious Johnson and surging challenger John Moraga.

Johnson will look to make the second defense of his 125-pound strap. “Mighty Mouse” captured the belt with a unanimous decision win over Joseph Benavidez at UFC 152 last fall and recently edged TUF 14 winner John Dodson at UFC on Fox 6 in January.

Moraga is riding a seven-fight winning streak. The Arizona fighter has scored finishes off Ulysses Gomez and Chris Cariaso in his two UFC appearances.

Also announced for the card is pivotal contest in the women’s bantamweight division as former Strikeforce champion Miesha Tate will take on Colorado’s Cat Zingano. Tate is looking for a rematch with UFC champion Ronda Rousey, who defeated her by armbar under the Strikeforce banner. The Invicta veteran Zingano brings with her an undefeated record of 7-0.

UFC President Dana White tweeted that a heavyweight clash between former title challenger Gabriel Gonzaga and Travis Browne will also take place at the event.

A quartet of featherweights will fill out the card when Cole Miller battles Bart Palaszewski and Daniel Pineda meets Justin Lawrence.

No venue has been confirmed for the event. Last year’s TUF 16 Finale took place at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, but a Def Leppard concert is currently listed for the April 13 date.

The event will be broadcast live on FX with the finals of the TUF 17 tournament also joining the main card.
