Chad Mendes vs. Clay Guida Official for UFC on Fox 7

Former featherweight title contender Chad Mendes was supposed to be fighting Manny Gamburyan at UFC 157 but an injury forced Gamburyan off the card. Now Mendes will wait a bit longer but the wait may prove worthwhile as he now draws Clay Guida in a much more high profile match up.

The UFC on Fox 7 event is set to take place on April 20 from the HP Pavillion in San Jose. Featured on the card is a lightweight title scrap between UFC champion Benson Henderson and Strikeforce champ Gilbert Melendez along with a heavyweight showdown between Daniel Cormier and Frank Mir.
