MacDonald out; Hendricks in for UFC 158 co-headliner with Condit
An injury will force Rory MacDonald out of a planned UFC 158 bout with Carlos Condit, the only man to ever defeat the young Canadian prospect. Johny Hendricks steps in for MacDonald on the heels of a win over Martin Kampmann at UFC 154, the same event when Condit dropped a hard-fought decision to UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre. Hendricks’ original UFC 158 foe, Jake Ellenberger, remains linked to potential replacement foes Nate Marquardt and Tyron Woodley, but until the ink dries on an official foe, both bouts remains as speculation.
