On Friday, March 1, the UFC held the weigh-ins for its upcoming UFC on Fuel TV 8 event which takes place from the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan on Saturday, March 2. Twenty-one of the 22 fighters made weight on their first attempt, as lightweight Diego Sanchez missed the mark by two pounds.

The event will feature former Pride champion Wanderlei Silva, who will face U.S. Marine Brian Stann in the event’s headlining bout.

In addition to the main event, the main card also features a pivotal heavyweight clash between hard-hitting Samoan Mark Hunt and towering submission ace Stefan Struve, former Pride lightweight champion Takanori Gomi welcomes Ultimate Fighter winner Diego Sanchez back to 155 pounds, top-10 middleweights Hector Lombard and Yushin Okami go to battle, former Deep and Sengoku kingpin Mizuto Hirota faces Brazilian Rani Yahya and Afghan-born slugger Siyar Bahadurzada takes on Korean Dong Hyun Kim.

The event will feature a total of 11 bouts. A three-hour, six-fight showcase will air on Fuel TV and an additional five bouts will stream via the promotion’s YouTube page.

Saturday’s main card will air live on Fuel TV starting at 10 p.m. ET. The preliminary card will kick off at 7:30 p.m ET on YouTube.

The fighters hit the scales to weigh-in at 11 p.m. ET Friday. A stream of the action, as well as the full results, appears below.

*Sanchez was given one hour to drop the additional two pounds, but could not make the 156-pound limit. He forfeited 20 percent of his purse to his opponent Takanori Gomi.
