Cage Warriors 53 Results: Alers claims featherweight strap

In the main event of Cage Warriors 53 from Kelvin Hall in Glascow, Scotland, Jim Alers defeated Joni Salovaara by armbar submission to win the vacant featherweight title.

Season 18 of The Ultimate Fighter to air on Fox Sports 1

The Ultimate Fighter now has a new home, moving from FX to Fox Sports 1, which is set to debut in August.

UFC president Dana White announced during the Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale that the program will move to Fox Sports 1 on September 4 when Ronda Rousey and Cat Zingano will coach against one another in the 18th season of the show.

The season will feature both men and women living in the same house. Filming will begin this summer.

AXS TV to air Fallon Fox’s CFA 11 fight, Valentin Overeem-Mike Kyle headlines

Next month, AXS TV will air Championship Fighting Alliance 11, which includes Valentin Overeem vs. Mike Kyle, along with transgender fighter Fallon Fox.

AXS TV officially announced the news on Friday night.

Fox will take on Allana Jones in the co-main event, a featherweight tournament semifinal bout.

CFA 11 takes place on May 24 from the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Fla.
