Marreta rose and during an exchange of knees, hit a low blow on Patolino. When fighting resumed, the Team Nogueira fighter again put Marreta on the floor and went on to dominate the first round.

In the second round, Patolino was more successful in landing blows, applying a hook on the belly of his opponent and again controlling his punches and defense well.

With a unanimous decision, Patolino of Team Nogueira qualified for the quarterfinals of the program. Coach Minotaur perked up, saying that the tide had turned.

It was a well fought first round, with Santos throwing a kick to the belly of Ninja as the round came to a close.

In the second round, Santos threw another front kick. Once more, he took Ninja to the ground and used his jiu-jitsu to dominate en route to winning the fight.

By unanimous decision, Santos of Team Nogueira advances to the quarterfinals of the reality show.

Coach Werdum did not like Ninja’s performance. He felt that the fighter did not obey the strategy, which results in him being mounted on the ground throughout the fight. It was a decision that angered Werdum some.

On the other side, coach Minotaur celebrated two very positive results with confidence in his fighters returning. The team wants to turn the tables. Team Werdum will now have to reorganize to change this trend.
