Fox 7 ratings remain strong

Despite showing a slight decline from its previous outing on Fox, the UFC on Fox 7 card still showed strength in the fast national ratings. The event, headlined by UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson’s successful yet close title defense against Gilbert Melendez, scored 3.31 million viewers with a 1.5 rating within the 18-49 demographic. These initial numbers, while strong, do not include the number of viewers for the main event into their average, so the final numbers will look substantially different when released.
