The two fights of the night set the table for two athletes to advance to the semifinals of the reality series.

The first fight was between Leonardo Santos of Team Nogueira against Thiago Santos of Team Werdum.

Thiago started the first round maintaining his low base. The athletes exchanged well, with Leonardo gaining the advantage. He managed to connect with punches and a kick to the face of his opponent. Leonardo and Thiago clinched at the end of the first round.

In the second round, Thiago managed to exchange a bit on the feet, but the Team Nogueira fighter, Leo Santos, managed to put him back on the ground and connected with good shots on Thiago.

By judges’ decision, Leo Santos wins the fight and advances to the semifinals of the program.

In the second fight of the episode, David Vieira of Team Nogueira went up against Team Werdum’s Viscardi Andrade.

The fight started with a lot of movement, with Andrade throwing strikes against Vieira. Vieira tried to block the punches and drop Andrade, but Andrade connected with three strong crosses to take the advantage in the first round.

In the second round, Andrade continued to connect while standing and exchanging punches. He did not allow his Team Nogueira rival to complete any takedowns. Whenever he attacked Andrade, Vieira looked for any way to try to fight on the ground.

By judges’ decision, Andrade became the first member of Team Werdum to pass to the semifinals of the reality series.

The episode also marked the departure from Team Werdum of fighter Juliano “Ninja” Wandalen, who was angered by a joke made by Werdum with explosives in the locker room of Nogueira.

Ninja called Werdum weak and even said that Werdum has no leadership. The coach offered Ninja to Nogueira’s team, as there was no way to keep Wandalen on his team.

In his Twitter during the program, Werdum said:

“I drove out the Ninja because he has human shit in the locker room @Minotauromma! I have not a friend who plays with shit! Vc have?”

“Do you think a person (NINJA) that shits in a pot and takes it to the gym is normal?”
