Donald Cerrone vs. Rafael dos Anjos Added to UFC on FOX Sports 1 No. 2

We will be seeing Donald Cerrone once more in a few months when he meets Rafael dos Anjos at the second installment of UFC on Fox Sports 1.

The lightweight clash will pit together two top ten UFC fighters for the co-main event of the evening. Cerrone won his last time out against K.J. Noons by decision and is currently 3-1 in his last four fights. His only loss comes against current featherweight title challenger, Anthony Pettis.

Dos Anjos is riding a four-fight win streak and is looking for his first top ten win to help bump himself into title contention. Dos Anjos has won his last three fights by decision over Evan Dunham, Mark Bocek and Anthony Njokuani.

Canada and Connecticut Legalize MMA Separately

One more state has legalized MMA as Connecticut passed a bill today legalizing the sport.

Last month the bill was passed by the state’s House of Representatives and then passed a vote today in the Senate by a 26-9 vote. With Connecticut now legalizing MMA it leaves only New York as the final state to have the sport as illegal.

Canada also stepped up today legalizing the sport throughout the country as the House of Commons passed a bill with a 267-9 vote. The bill passed by Canada legalizes all combat sports that also includes karate, taekwondo and MMA.
